Minneapolis Council Backs Lyndale Ave CSAH 22 Project Layout Plan

This major rebuild, led by Hennepin County with city partners, will fully upgrade the road, sidewalks, curbs, utilities, and safety features between Franklin Avenue and 31st Street—adding protected bike lanes, better pedestrian crossings, green space, and transit improvements while aiming to make the busy commercial corridor safer and more accessible for all users, with construction slated for around 2028.
